The Gastein cross-country skiing region has plenty to offer cross-country skiers of all levels and preferences. With its various cross-country ski trails at different altitudes, there are a wide variety of routes to choose from. The high-altitude trail in Sportgastein, which stretches an impressive 1,600 meters above sea level, is particularly attractive.

The fantastic network of trails in Gastein comprises a total of around 40 kilometers of groomed trails, which are suitable for both classic cross-country skiing and skating.

For all dog lovers, the region also offers some of the few dog trails where you can go cross-country skiing with your four-legged friend.
