From beginners to seasoned pros, the Gastein valley offers rewarding tours for every skill level. Those who want to give the sport a try will find well-marked beginner routes, for example, at Stubneralm or around Lake Spiegelsee. More experienced ski tourers can take on the more challenging routes at Fulseck or Schlossalm. And if you prefer to stay close to the groomed slopes, there are free ski touring routes available on Graukogel.

Intense and safe ski touring experiences
Alongside a healthy respect for nature, good preparation is the key ingredient for safe ski tours. Before setting off, always check the weather and avalanche reports, go over your chosen route and make sure you have the required safety equipment – including an avalanche transceiver, a probe and a shovel.
