Tanz:Fest Gastein Linedance Edition
For all those who love line dancing, there is now also the Tanz:Fest Gastein Linedance Edition. With a wide variety of line dance workshops - from classic choreographies to modern country variations and current trends - there are plenty of opportunities to try out new things and deepen your knowledge. Renowned line dance instructors from Germany and abroad guarantee your dancing progress and provide unforgettable dance experiences in a breathtaking winter setting.

Workshop Locations

Who can take part in the Tanz:Fest Gastein Linedance Edition?
All line dance enthusiasts, from Beginner Level 1 (no previous knowledge or very little previous knowledge approx. 2 - 3 months) to Intermediate (Level 4 - 5 years of dance experience) There are workshops for all levels - Beginner (Level 1), High Beginner (Level 2), Improver (Level 3), Intermediate/Advanced (Level 4 - 5).
What tickets are available?
Day passes:
1 day pass (optional),
2-day pass (FR+SA or SA+SO)
3-day pass (FR-SO)

How much do the tickets cost?
You can find the ticket prices directly in the online store.
For ticket bookings until 31.1.2026 you will receive an early bird bonus.

Where do the workshops take place?
The workshops take place in two different locations in the center of Bad Hofgastein: Congress Center and Kursaal.
To get from one location to the next, you have to go outside. Please take normal street shoes with you when changing locations! You can get an overview map at the Tanz:Fest Info Desk.
How can I book my accommodation?
Book your overnight stay in one of the partner hotels of Tanz:Fest Gastein.
How do I get my linedance documents and the linedance ribbon?
You can get the Tanz:Fest Band, the brochure and the tickets for the parties at the Tanz:Fest Info Desk in the Congress Center. Please take your booking confirmation (e-mail) with you! The Tanz:Fest Band gives you access to all workshops and events included in your dance pass.
Where can I find the workshop timetable?
In the brochure that you will receive at your "Check In" at the Tanz:Fest Info Desk or online.
Which workshops can I attend with my ticket?
You can attend all workshops that take place on the day on which your ticket is valid. You do not need to register for a workshop in advance.
What workshop levels are there? What are the requirements?
L 1 = Beginner: no or easy knowledge available/required (approx. 2-3 months, beginner course)
L2 = High Beginner: Slight knowledge available/required (approx. 4-6 months, beginner/+follow-up course)
L3 = Improver: (good knowledge available/required ( approx. 1 year )
L 4-5 = Intermediate/Advanced: (several years of dance experience required)
We ask you to attend the workshops according to your own ability. This way you can get the most out of the workshops.
s it possible to film the workshop content for your own use?
At the end of each workshop you have the opportunity to film the lesson content (step sequences, figures). Please note that recordings of any kind (sound, video) are only permitted during the time defined by the dance teacher. Publication of the recordings is NOT permitted!
Do I need a dance partner?
No!
When and where do the evening events take place?
The line dance parties take place in the congress center or in the Kursaal.
Can I have dinner at the evening events?
At every evening event there is the possibility to have at least a snack. If you have booked dinner at your hotel and are eating out, don't forget to let reception know to cancel your dinner.
What is the dress code?
Workshops: Sporty or casual, just the way you prefer to come to dance lessons.
Events: No dress code
Are drinks available at the workshop locations?
You cannot buy drinks in the workshop locations. However, there is a supermarket around the corner. You can also fill up your own drinks bottle with tap water.

Duration: 15 min.
You lie in loose clothing on a rubber mat on a warm waterbed. The hydrojet massage relieves tension and relaxes the muscles. It also stimulates the circulation and increases the metabolism.

Radon thermal taster bath
approx. 20 min. + approx. 20 min. relaxation time
