Once on site, the Guest Mobility Ticket allows free use of all public transport across the province of Salzburg, paving the way for car-free holidays.

The Austrian Ecolabel is the state seal of quality for certified sustainability in tourism, confirming that businesses, destinations and event locations assume ecological, social and economic responsibility and fulfill clearly defined criteria set by the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology.

The Gastein Valley is currently in the process of being certified as an official Austrian Ecolabel destination. This is made possible by the close cooperation of the three tourism associations, the municipalities of Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgastein and Dorfgastein as well as numerous businesses and regional stakeholders.
Specialized core teams develop ideas and measures in key areas of sustainability: Mobility, socio-economics, destination management, cultural responsibility, climate protection & climate change adaptation as well as nature conservation & biodiversity.
